Big Snow

Owlcatraz was home to Big Red, the world's largest cattle beast who died in April 2004. He was a South Devon Steer standing over 6 feet at the shoulder and weighing over 2000 kgs. A fitting tribute to Big Red will soon be on display at Owlcatraz.

Big Snow is a gigantic white steer who is showing all the signs of beating the world records. He is friends with the wee micro mooee Jonah Low Moo. This animal is amazing. You won't believe your eyes!

Tuggys Buoy is the calf of the famous February flooding cow number 569 who rescued the farmer Kim Riley from the flooding river. She was saved from being completely swept away by holding number 569 around the neck.

A book called Cow Power has been written about her.
